Many young people have skills, ideas and ambition, but lack the experience and opportunities to turn that potential into meaningful careers.
Our story
Value on both sides of the table.
At the same time, many community organizations are doing important work but lack access to the technical, creative, research, business and operational support they need to grow their impact. Launchpad exists to bridge that gap.
We connect young people with community-based projects where they apply their skills, learn by doing, receive mentorship, work in teams, build portfolios and develop the confidence for their next step.
Launchpad began by bringing together young people from different disciplines around practical community challenges, with Beacon of Unity as one of our early pilot projects. Experience is not something young people have to wait to be given. They can build it while contributing to something that matters.
